About 45 minutes in duration, the artisan workshops enable you to learn about Aboriginal crafts with an artisan who’ll guide you and tell you about your creation’s story and origin. Reserve your workshops when you arrive at the Musée Amérindien reception area.

In the past, the Pekukuakamiulnuatsh lived over a vast territory and families were dispersed in several ancestral locations depending on the season. In the spring, families gathered on Pointe-Bleue, now called Mashteuiatsh, to go fishing on the Pekuakami (Lac Saint-Jean) and prepare for the return trip to the territory in the fall.
Learn more while attending the workshop. The Pekuakamiulnuatsh culture initiation workshop is offered every day at the Musée Amérindien and lasts for 45 minutes.
